These terms cover your use of Glido, the Mac app, and glido.studio (“we” means the team behind Glido). By downloading or buying Glido you agree to them.

Your license

Buying a plan gives you a personal license to use Glido on up to 3 Macs at a time. You can move it between Macs from Settings › License. You may not resell, share or redistribute license keys, or the app.

Plans and billing

• Monthly ($12) and Yearly ($96) are subscriptions. They renew automatically until you cancel. Starting one at checkout includes a 7-day free trial; a card is required, and if you cancel before the trial ends you won’t be charged.
• Lifetime is a one-time payment for continued use of Glido. Launch pricing rises as seats sell and lifetime is sold for a limited time.
• Prices are in USD and include tax where it applies. We may change prices for new purchases; a change never affects a lifetime license you already own, and subscribers are told before a renewal at a new price.

Payment

Orders are processed by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record, which handles payment, sales tax and VAT, invoices and receipts. Your license key is sent by email right after payment.

Free trial

You can use every feature for 7 days from first launch without a card or an account. After the trial, recording and exporting need a license; recordings you made stay on your Mac and remain yours.

Refunds and cancellation

See our Refunds & cancellation policy. In short: a full refund within 14 days of any purchase, and you can cancel a subscription any time.

Your content

Recordings, videos and demos you make with Glido are yours. They’re stored on your Mac; we never receive them. You’re responsible for what you record and share, including anything on screen that belongs to others.

No warranty

Glido is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from its use, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Keep backups of recordings that matter.
