What do I need?
A Mac with macOS 15 Sequoia or later. Apple silicon and Intel both work.
Why does Glido ask for Screen Recording and Accessibility?
Screen Recording lets it capture your screen. Accessibility lets it see where you click and the names of the buttons you press, which is how the video knows where to zoom and the demo knows what each step is. Both stay on your Mac: recordings are never uploaded. You can change either in System Settings › Privacy & Security.
I allowed Screen Recording but Glido still says it’s off
macOS applies it after the app restarts. Quit Glido from its menu bar icon and open it again. If it’s still off, remove Glido from the Screen Recording list with the minus button, add it back, and reopen.
How does the free trial work?
Every feature is free for 7 days from the first launch, with no card and no account. When it ends, recording stops; your projects and exports stay, and you can still open and export them. Pick any plan to keep recording.
Where’s my license key?
On the thank-you page right after you pay, and in your receipt email from Dodo Payments. On the thank-you page, Open in Glido activates your Mac in one click. Or paste the key in Glido › Settings › License.
How many Macs can I use?
Up to 3 with one key. To move to a new Mac, open Settings › License on the old one and press Deactivate, then activate the key on the new one. Lost the old Mac? Write to us and we’ll free it.
Does Glido work offline?
Yes. It checks your license about once a day when it can, and keeps working for 14 days without a connection.
How do I cancel or get a refund?
Cancel a subscription any time from “Manage subscription” in your receipt email. Refunds are no-questions within 14 days. Details are on the refunds page.
How do updates work?
Glido checks for a new version once a day and asks before installing it. Every update is included in every plan. See what’s new.
Where are my recordings and exports?
In your Movies folder, under Glido. Exports are in Movies › Glido › Exports, one folder per project. Each export is a new file, so nothing you’ve shared is ever overwritten.
